Photographer Robert Harbison is based in Los Angeles, where he covers news, features, and special projects for The Christian Science Monitor. His work for the newspaper has taken him to 41 countries around the world, as well as throughout the United States. He joined the Monitor staff in the late 80s, after a previous stint with the Yakima Herald Republic in Washington State.
