A new life found in God
Original in Spanish
Since childhood, I had suffered from severe undernourishment, glandular disorders, and intense headaches. The diagnosis, against which I inwardly rebelled, was that I would have to rely on vitamins and medication forever.
But then, when I became acquainted with Christian Science, I was able to maintain my health by trusting in prayer, instead of depending on taking medication.
When I began to read Science and Health—although much of what I read seemed contradictory while I was reading it—I would soon experience a feeling of vitality and serenity. I had hopes of being able to stop taking medication, so I continued reading the book, along with the Weekly Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly.
