The Web & Information Technology department (WIT) at the Christian Science Plaza in Boston's Back Bay is currently accepting applications for an Executive Assistant to the Executive Manager. This position serves as business manager for the department, faciliating communications and coordinating activities between the Executive Manager, other WIT staff, and other departments.
The successful candidate is defined by:
• Superior organizational skills and a strong sense of customer service—consistently demonstrating follow-through, flexibility, kindness, and calm
• Self-motivation, ability to stay focused, and use good judgment
• The ability to handle confidential matters discreetly
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with technology—must be fluent with everything from Microsoft Office to databases and desktop publishing. Also, must know jargon for servers, networking, and the Web
• Must wear a pager and/or carry a cell phone to handle urgent situations.
