The underlying thrust in Christianity, Islam, and Judaism is trust in God. Trusting God releases customary ways of thinking from limiting perspectives, and opens thought to wider possibilities. Do we think our needs have to be met according to some preconceived outline? In my copy of the Quran, God and His angels speak directly to Moses, telling him, " 'Strike the rock with your staff.' Whereupon, twelve springs gushed out therefrom. The members of each tribe knew their own water. Eat and drink from God's provisions, and do not roam the earth corruptingly." Quran, Sura 26:132–134)

Let's choose which voices we want to hear and follow. This will determine our experience—whether we need intuitions about daily activities or guidance for life's bigger questions. In fact, we may find ourselves "fleeing" from error, removing ourselves from, or turning off, the voices that urge us to believe in chance, contagion, confusion, danger. In their place, we will hear the "still, small voice" of God, divine Mind, reminding us of the security, perspicacity, health, and well-being that are ours as His loved children.
