Prayer ends recurring back strain
In 1989 I was working at a job that required a great deal of lifting. One day I lifted a box and hurt my back. I found myself unable to move normally because moving from a horizontal to a vertical position was difficult and painful. This kept me bed-ridden.
During this time I called a practitioner of Christian Science to pray with me for healing. I was freed of the immediate difficulty and was up and about after a couple of days. But I found that the pain persisted periodically, especially when I tried to lift something.
Occasionally, over the next several years, I had back pain. I requested help through prayer from different practitioners at different times, and each time I found temporary relief. But the problem always recurred.
