LOVE
Love dissolves the anger
Have you ever felt helpless in the face of someone else's fury or anger? Maybe another person is mad at you, or they're just mad at life in general. Perhaps they start to abuse you verbally or threaten you physically. You ask yourself, "What can I do to protect myself?"
When faced with rage, remember that you're never alone. God is with you. There is no situation you can enter into where the power and presence of God are not already there to help you. You can rely on His power to disarm another's evil intent and protect you from harm.
One time I was sitting in my office, which happened to be located on a street front. A very large man stormed through my front door. He was raging mad. He had just had a fight with his girlfriend. He wanted to take out his anger on someone. Evidently, I looked like an easy target.
