Hopeful message, healing message

Last winter I began to have severe flu symptoms. I rarely ever miss a day of work, but this time I could barely manage to get out of bed.

This went on for two days. I had a hard time praying for myself because of the pain. I found myself thinking that the disease just needed to run its course, and that there was nothing that I could do to stop it. But then I saw that this wasn't the best way to think, and I decided to take a stand and trust that God could heal me, right then. I knew that I was made by God, already perfect, healthy, and painfree. I needed to see myself as God saw me—whole and free.
