The power of prayer
"We'd appreciate your prayers," my neighbor pleaded. The family was frantically calling all the neighbors to see if we had any information about their 12-year-old daughter, who'd been kidnapped from a group of other girls by a man with a gun.
I was more than a little shocked. But I felt love for these parents, for their daughter, and for the rest of the family. It was already late evening, but I began to pray immediately.
