Freedom to speak out

A few years ago when I began to study Christian Science seriously, I also began attending Sunday and Wednesday church services on a regular basis.

At the Wednesday evening meetings, I sat and listened intently to testimonies of healing of all sorts of problems, ranging from sickness to personal relationship difficulties and financial troubles. I often wished I could share my own healings, but I was afraid to stand up and speak. From grade school through college, I had always been extremely uncomfortable when public speaking was required. Time had done nothing to heal this fear.
