Help in fighting world hunger
Thank you for sharing "thehungersite.com" in the November 27 issue. It's so easy to use. I've told everyone I know about the site. My mouse and I have donated food several times. To show my appreciation to the advertisers, I've placed several orders, as well. It's a good feeling to know I'm helping to fight hunger in this way.

The "Big Chicken"
Thank you for the article about the "Big Chicken" in the December 4 issue. It was most helpful to me in praying for a young friend. I, too, laugh when I think of God as the Big Chicken.
In Metro Atlanta (Cobb County to be exact), the big chicken has been with us for years. It's a landmark, and when you give directions to people driving in the area, you always refer to the big chicken. Our bird has now taken on an entirely new meaning!

Sentinel has been her Sunday School teacher
I can't thank you enough for all the articles in the December 11 issue. The special article by [Name removed by request] on Christmas and the Christ made me understand much more clearly that having the Christ consciousness means being forever awake to God's thought unfolding to us continuously.
The editorial by Heloísa Rivas brought such a sense of God as Love. When we think as God thinks, there's no conflict. Harmony reigns! Since I started studying Christian Science when a senior in college and didn't attend Sunday School, the Sentinel and Journal have been my Sunday School teachers. I'm so grateful for their helpfulness in understanding the many spiritual truths about God through the years, and for Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy that illumines the Scriptures.
