Handyman prays often
Starting each day with a sincere desire to serve God, and continuing to hold that desire throughout the day, has protected and guided me, especially in my work as handyman.
Once I was on a third-story roof, washing out the rain gutter with a hose. I was sitting down because of the steep slope, and began washing the gutter from left to right.
After getting to the end, I started making my way back to where the ladder was, when I realized that the ocean breeze had carried a mist onto the moss-covered wood shingles, making the roof very slippery. I began sliding toward the edge of the roof!
