YOUR LETTERS
Thought-provoking artwork
The cover artwork on the December 4 issue is most appropriate for many of the articles. To my sense, the rainbow on the horizon can be reached by either road. Since we know God is always with us, no matter which way we choose, sometimes we need to feel no anxiety about which way to go. God's law is abundace for us—even providing the abundace of two possible choices instead of one. Why does one always have to be the right one and the other the wrong one? Sometimes both alternatives will be right.
Margaret Rogers's editorial in the same issue is a most needed topic for Americans who seem to worship winning, especially in careers and sports. Persevering and continuing to play the game in spite of losses takes more courage sometimes than the winner's courage.

Appreciates coverage of wide variety of topics
Recently, a group of local churches sponsored a two-week program dealing with teen violence. I was asked to search issues of the Sentinel to find articles dealing with this subject.
While doing this, I began to see just how many different subjects are being addressed by the articles. There were issues on health, on modern living, and on just about everything in general such as healing of tragedy, volunteering, realizing one's potential, finding God at work, good government, technology, safe travel, faith, and the Bible.
In all cases, you sought to "watch the world from a spiritual perspective" and to help heal it. Thank you for your keen attention to the challenges of the times.

Finds Sentinel easy to share
I appreciate the Sentinel more with every issue. Each one is so very current and has answers for me and my loved ones. My stepdaughters often enjoy copies I've earmarked for them, and recently one of them accepted a gift subscription. Thanks for making the Sentinel so sharable.
