Child's trust in God heals facial wounds
I answered the telephone at my office one day, only to hear a frightened voice at the other end of the line. It was Tyler, our four-year-old. He had just been in an accident while riding his bike.
My wife had been nearby and had come to his aid. She had immediately assured him of God's love and reminded him that he could not fall out of God's care. Tyler had responded quickly to his mother's words and calmed down. She took him home and cleaned his wounds. Tyler had experienced God's healing power many times before, and the two talked about how God was caring for him this time as well. Now he was calling me to pray with them.
