Millennial expectations

I'm sure that in the decades to come we will recognize this period as the chrysalis stage of true spiritual growth. We'll see that riding alongside our bloom of scientific development was an increasing awareness of the need for spiritual and moral qualities in life. In the years to come, these qualities will continue to grow and govern. We will actively seek and demand to have a spiritual understanding of God and creation that is applicable to our lives.

I believe three remarkable changes have already begun: (1) An increasing awareness of the insubstantiality of matter and an emerging understanding of the power and role of consciousness and thought; (2) An awakening to the scientific nature of God; and (3) Perception of the need for a practical and demonstrable proof of spiritual power. These are all indications of a millennial or spiritual thought.
