Last Year The Sentinel invited...
Last year the Sentinel invited readers of all ages, and from any faith or background, to consider their response to the following questions:
In the new millennium, what moral and spiritual progress do you foresee?
How will your prayers and initiatives help?
Readers were asked to put their response in the form of an essay. We received over four hundred submissions from all over the world.
Earlier this year, we published the First, Second, and Third Place winners in each of the two categories: age 21 and over, and age 20 and under. While we cannot publish all the remaining essays, we thought our readers would like to see a few extracts from some of the others. The following excerpts are from essays submitted in the "age 21 and over" category.
