Prayer heals corneal ulcer
I woke up one morning and both of my eyes were burning, particularly the left eye. Thinking they were dry and would clear up, I attributed the problem to the previous afternoon of heavy yard work and also to the fact that I had worn my contact lenses longer than normal. But as the day progressed, my eyes got worse. Since I was going to the eye doctor that day for new contacts anyway, I decided to have her look at them.
She discovered an ulcer on the cornea. She said that if it was left unattended, it could result in loss of sight in that eye. She prescribed a strong antibiotic, administered every fifteen minutes the first day and every hour each day thereafter. I left her office with a prescription and instructions to return the next day.
