Weathering the weather

Whether the weather is cold,
Whether the weather is hot,
We'll weather the weather, whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not.

THIS LITTLE DITTY from my Girl Scout days says in a humorous way what many of us feel about the weather. Haven't we all felt, at times, that we can't do anything about the weather and just have to take what comes? Is it possible to have a sense of equanimity, especially when one lives in an area where the weather fluctuates widely?
