Stomach disorder healed while traveling overseas
A few years ago I was on a college study-abroad program in St. Petersburg, Russia. One day during classes, I felt pain in my stomach. The program's director assisted me back to his apartment, where I could rest and pray peacefully. There I prayed to understand more of the truths that I had learned from attending the Christian Science Sunday School while I was growing up: that God is Father-Mother, and I am a child of God; that there is no power apart from God, and that She is ever present, so no matter where I was on earth, I was still in God's universe; that since God is all-powerful, and He created All and created it good, there is no other creator or cause that could induce evil or disease. These truths enabled me to refute the suggestion I'd heard when I arrived in the city: that if I drank any water that wasn't boiled, I would become ill.
All discomfort from my stomach was gone. I was completely healed.
