Epilepsy healed; freedom of movement restored

When I was nine years old, a school friend invited me to go with her to the Christian Science Sunday School. I have remained interested in Christian Science ever since.

Over the years, there have been many challenges to meet, especially when bringing up a family of boys. I remember an occasion when one of my sons, while at a boarding school, had a seizure during the night. The school doctor referred him to a neurosurgeon, and an appointment was made for an examination. I contacted a Christian Science practitioner for treatment prior to the examination the school required. I felt confident that the results of the tests would be negative. So it was a great shock when the results came through and my son was diagnosed as an epileptic. I was told that this would necessitate his taking pills for the rest of his life in order to control the disease.

At first I felt confused, as I could not believe that the Christian Science treatment had not been effective.
