Chronic illness healed
For many years I suffered from influenza. Hardly a week would go by without my having a cold and fever. It was so bad that I had my doctor repeat whatever prescription he gave me. If a little rain fell on me, I caught a cold. I would take the tablets even when I did not have a cold, but to no avail.
Eventually, I resigned myself to the fact that having a cold and fever was a "way of life" for me. So when I got a job in another country, I stocked up on the prescription drug that seemed to help me most.
For sixteen years I had been a member of a Christian denomination in my home country of Jamaica, but when I moved to the Bahamas, there was no church of that denomination there. I know that it was God who guided me through prayer to find the Church of Christ, Scientist.
