God's love heals stomach trouble
One evening when I got out of my lounge chair to retire for the night, I was struck with severe stomach pain. As I could not lie down, I decided to walk around the house and pray.
When I found that I could not think clearly because of the pain, I woke my husband. He began to read aloud hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal. I was so grateful to him for doing this. These beautiful poems with their healing messages have always inspired and helped me whenever I have been in difficulty. He also prayed aloud the Lord's Prayer with its spiritual interpretation from Science and Health (see pp. 16–17).
