Child's injured arm quickly healed
On a Monday afternoon in the spring of 1995, my two-year-old son, Colin, came to me with a problem. Although he was unable to tell me what the difficulty was, it was evident that his arm was limp and he could not use it. I then called a Christian Science practitioner for treatment through prayer. She lovingly told me that there is nothing in God's universe, and nothing about Colin, that could be useless. We talked about keeping him comfortable and providing a normal environment. I then set him up on the couch for the afternoon, sang hymns to him, and talked with him about God's love for His children. I also called my husband at work, who said that he, too, would be praying about the situation.
By Friday there was no indication there had ever been a problem.
