Prayer heals infection and a facial growth
During several months I had been having dental work done. At one point I was asked to take antibiotic medicine, because X-rays showed the presence of infection. When I explained that I was a Christian Scientist and hadn't taken any medicine for over forty years, the dentist was very thoughtful, but still concerned about the situation.
I had been praying to better understand my oneness with divine Love, God, and had been claiming my perfection as a child of God, the one Mind, who is "of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity" (Hab. 1:13). I turned again to these ideas in prayer.
