Injured rib healed

I was healed in six days of what appeared to be a broken rib. One Sunday afternoon, I was in the back seat of a rented van with my sister and niece in the front. As I was leaning over the back seat to open the air conditioning vents, we rode over a big bump. My body bounced against the metal rim of the seat—right on my rib cage. I felt a severe pain. Immediately I began to pray. I declared silently: God creates only good—He doesn't know anything about an accident. At first it seemed almost impossible to breathe, and I was aware of gripping fear. The tears were uncontrollable. After a few minutes, however, I was able to regain some composure and just sit quietly. When we left the highway shortly thereafter, I asked my sister, who is a Christian Science practitioner, for Christian Science treatment, and I explained briefly what had happened. She reminded me that this trip was a right activity and no bad outcome could result from that. She and I spoke at length about the truth of being, and she referred to this statement in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy: "Undisturbed amid the jarring testimony of the material senses, Science, still enthroned, is unfolding to mortals the immutable, harmonious, divine Principle,—is unfolding Life and the universe, ever present and eternal" (p. 306). I felt much calmer and was able to proceed with our day as planned, helping to unpack the van and move my niece into her room for the school year.

On Saturday afternoon, I realized that I had been healed.
