Achieving
Why the gap between aspiration
and actual performance,
one sometimes wonders.
Could it be lack of conformance
to this guideline Jesus gave?
"If any man serve me,
him will my Father honour."
Make that shift from self to Christ;
find life well worth living,
for oneself and all mankind.
Sharon Slaton Howell
