It's only a dance, right?
Discover what really matters in your everyday activities.
Let me share what I learned about God in my tap dance class. Our teacher's advanced troupe entertains for nursing homes and various community affairs during the year. This particular year, she invited our beginners' class to join their holiday performance.
At first, I was excited about performing for an audience. Soon, however, I developed doubts about my ability. I worried about not having adequate time to learn the choreography. Besides, I didn't have a costume, and I didn't feel comfortable performing with seasoned dancers. And, quite frankly, I didn't want to crowd my week with more practice sessions. With all these negative reasons pummeling my initial excitement, I told my instructor I wouldn't be participating after all.
