One with God

"Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled
about many things."Luke 10:41
Oh well-deserved rebuke, lovingly given,
To point the way to understanding heaven.

So when each day brings Martha-toils and cares,
Father, I pray for understanding grace,
To sit in thought in wiser Mary's place,

And know Thee, All-in-all: Life, Truth, and Love.
Man's substance, one with God, above.
