Pain eliminated; mobility restored
I've experienced protection from danger and accident, as well as healings of colds, of a growth on my forehead, of the inability to walk properly, and of a separated shoulder. These are all landmarks in my growth and understanding of God's love and provision for each one of us.
The healing of the shoulder injury took place a number of years ago. I spent a weekend with my family and a group of high-school-age people in a distant oceanfront city. I was invited to play football on the beach with some of the younger men. Early in the game, as I jumped up to catch a pass, I saw two of the larger players on the opposing team go up with me to intercept the football.
