Severed finger restored
Several months ago, our granddaughter's finger was accidentally caught in a door and severed. Her mother took her to the emergency room, where they sewed it back on, wrapped it up, and sent her home. One week later she returned to have it checked only to find that it was not healing properly. The doctor re-bandaged it and said the only thing to do was to hope it would grow together over time.
When the old bandage was removed, the finger was found to be totally reattached.
