Calm during a crisis
One recent incident has proved to me very powerfully that God is ever present and that we are never apart from His goodness.
In July of last year my wife and I were in an automobile accident. While we were on vacation, the pickup truck we were in left the highway, rolled over at least twice, and landed on its side in a ditch, facing in the opposite direction. Even while this was occurring, I never felt for an instant that God was not with me and my wife. There was no fear, and the feeling of God's presence was ex tremely strong.
