READING THE BOOK HEALS
What's so wonderful about Science and Health is that it makes you realize how natural and powerful it is to think the way it reads. Let me explain. A systematic, consecutive reading of Science and Health strengthens my confidence in practicing spiritual healing for myself and others.
Just reading a few pages or even a few paragraphs a day (or night), gives me mental resources that help me feel less afraid or disrupted when difficulties arise. I don't care how quickly or slowly I go through the chapters, because I know there is a deeper spiritual understanding that's developing.
As a result, I've noticed that I don't try to "live with" pain or weariness as much anymore. If there's a headache or sore throat, instead of lying down I start praying with what I've been reading in Science and Health. Usually the symptoms are gone quickly instead of wiping me out for days.
