"The radiation of Spirit"
After a spell of cold weather, who doesn't love the feeling of warm, bright sunshine? Where I live in the high desert of the southwestern United States, as soon as spring commences, every animal is out in the sun—the rabbits, the quails, and especially the lizards.
Those sun-worshiping animals bask in much the same way that sun-worshiping people often do, although the animals probably aren't too interested in getting a tan. In a recent popular newspaper cartoon strip, a character was so set on getting an all-over-tan that he even put toothpicks between his toes so the sun could do its work easily!
Sun worshiping has been receiving mixed reviews lately. You may be hearing that there's a smorgasbord of diseases associated with sunshine. Some people identify the photons and other things emitted by that ball of gas and molten elements we call the sun as our enemy, as something that can bestow disease upon us.
