Is matter as solid as it looks?
When I was four years old, my dad visited some relatives while he was away on a business trip. He immediately noticed a different, happier atmosphere in their home. They had become eager students of Christian Science.
Dad told my mother about the great change in our relatives and said he would like to raise our family as Christian Scientists. Mother was reluctant, but Dad said, "If you ever need help when I am away, please call a Christian Science practitioner."
Some time later, when Dad was away again, my baby sister woke one morning covered with ugly purple blisters. Mother took her to a doctor, who said: "I don't know what it is. I can't do anything for you." So Mother called the practitioner and explained the situation. He said, "Put her in her crib, and I will pray." Two hours later there was not a spot on her.
