FIELD SHARING PROGRAM OPENINGS

Publishing is all about sharing. There are several new positions at The Christian Science Monitor responsible for developing and implementing new field marketing programs for sharing the Monitor. This work includes engaging church members in sharing the Monitor.

We are looking for members of The Mother Church who have had Primary class instruction and who can take initiative, generate ideas, and implement programs in a team environment. A demonstrated ability to communicate and work with Christian Scientists in the Field, as well as extensive experience (including management) in marketing, public relations, communications, or similar fields, is essential. Skills in project management and meeting facilitation would be a plus.

A CONTINUING INVITATION

Members of The Mother Church are invited to write articles and poems for the periodicals. Convincing testimonies of healing are also welcomed from members, as well as from those who have not yet joined The Mother Church.

All contributions accepted for publication become the sole property of The Christian Science Publishing Society.

MOVING OR VACATIONING

You can receive faster, more efficient service for periodical subscriptions if before a change of address you will provide us with all the following information:

1. An address label from a current periodical. If you do not have one, list your full name as it appears on the label, and your former address.

2. The name of each periodical you would like changed to the new address.

3. Your new address (street, city, state/country, ZIP or post code) and the date you would like periodicals to begin arriving there.

For best service, please allow six (6) weeks for processing your change of address. For temporary address changes, we will process a change for two weeks or more to The Christian Science Monitor (daily edition) and for four weeks or more for the other Christian Science periodicals.

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE READING ROOMS

Here qualified librarians are available to answer questions and assist visitors in learning more about Christian Science.

SUBMITTING TESTIMONIES

Convincing testimonies of healing in Christian Science are always welcome for publication. If possible, submitted manuscripts should be double-or triple-spaced, with wide margins, using standard white paper.

A testimony should be concise and include only the important points necessary to illustrate how Christian Science heals.

Testimonies should be signed by the testifier and should be verified by three members of The Mother Church who can vouch for the integrity of the testifier or have witnessed the healings. (If the testifier is unacquainted with three members, his own signed statement may be sufficient, but in this cause he should, if he can, obtain corroboration from one or two members.) The testifier should submit the verifications with the testimony. Complete names and addresses of the testifier and his vouchers are also needed.
