As my husband, my sister, and I were driving home from attending a family wedding in a northwest state, a car speeded past us in the lane to the right and the driver shot at our car. The bullet entered our car on the passenger side, where I was sitting, and lodged in the door. It missed my head by about two inches. There was no glass broken, and we were all unharmed. We were calm, at peace, and suffered no aftereffects whatsoever from shock or hysteria. We went to the nearest town and reported the incident of the police. They removed the bullet, which had fallen to the inside bottom of the car door, and the officers remarked how "lucky" we had been, commenting, "God sure loved you today!"
The bullet missed my head by about two inches.
