Recently, Linda Drummond of Henrietta, New York, spoke with Rita Polatin of the Christian Science Sentinel—Radio Edition.

Linda Drummond: In 1973 my health began to deteriorate. I began to have a great deal of pain after I ate my meals. I was not able to take care of my family, and because the pain would continue into the night, I often would not sleep until the wee hours of the morning. I definitely needed healing, so I asked a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me.

Rita Polatin: Why is it that you feel you can turn to God in prayer for healing?
