In my profession as a Realtor and real estate appraiser, I have had several occasions to go into underbrush and wooded areas to inspect properties for evaluation and sales purposes. Recently several of us were making such an inspection, but I decided to remain back near the edge of the location. I felt that there were enough individuals to examine the property without my being present, and I did not want to go any farther because of the possibility of getting deer ticks on me or my clothes.
The condition healed very quickly, and there have not been any adverse effects from this tick bite.
