Flower to light
Through the dark watches of the night
I turn to God, as flower to light.
And even mid the joy of day
Truth answers gently when I pray.
Oh, let me never turn aside
To other gods who cannot guide.
But keep me one with Love always,
In prayer, in song, in deed, in praise.
Cold fear can never find me then,
Nor sin destroy my loud Amen.
And ills will fade and sickness flee
As God reveals Himself to me.
