A wound instantly healed

We have a small farm with most of the property fenced off for goats and llamas. The fencing consists of three different types of wire, with metal T-posts and wooden peeler cores for stability.

One day, working next to the fence, I scratched my arm on a piece of wire. "Right before my very eyes," as the saying goes, a scratch opened up, bled, swelled up impressively, and the surrounding area literally turned black.

It looked pretty scary.
