I was invited to take part in a television program on the subject of children's playgrounds. It was being planned for a few months hence. As the manager of a company building playgrounds and manufacturing playground equipment, I accepted this great opportunity with gratitude. But then the mortal thoughts began to dissuade me: you can't do this; you have nothing to do with TV presentations; you could not cope with speaking publicly; this will be humiliating for you and the company.

I was completely free of all symptoms—and that was the end of the cold.
