During the month of September, selected articles, features, editorials, and testimonies will be appearing in The Christian Science Journal, Christian Science Sentinel, The Herald of Christian Science, and The Christian Science Monitor in a continuing, coordinated campaign to address the challenges of child violence and abuse and to bring healing. The Christian Science Sentinel—Radio Edition will consider these issues in its September broadcasts as well.

Earlier this year, from May 1 through 14, a Mission Information Line was set up, and senior managers were available to answer questions and comments about the Church's Mission Statement (see Sentinel, April 29, 1996, p. 17). During this time, we received approximately 224 telephone calls, E-mails, and letters from individuals in Canada, Japan, Australia, England, Switzerland, and Brazil, and in 33 different states around the United States. Caller questions included:
