A number of newspapers and magazines have reported that society is facing a new threat of contagious diseases. The fear of contagious disease goes along with the belief that a person's body—its health or its illness—is largely beyond the control of that individual.
Especially worth noting is this week's "In focus" section, which is directed at counteracting that fear. It sheds light on a different view of each individual as God's image. It points to the very present and active laws of God, which enable people to maintain health under all circumstances and to heal disease effectively.
