Getting rid of pain
For many, pain is an unwelcome part of daily life, and any normal activity becomes a burden. Sometimes the impression arises that there's no alternative to helpless resignation to pain. It looks as if all joyous, uplifting thoughts are fading away.
But it doesn't have to be like that. There is a way that ends pain and shows us our God-given freedom. What every one of us can do is to pray in all humility to our creator.
Man's life is governed by God, Soul. As we understand that everything good and perfect belongs to us perpetually as His reflection, we feel His presence and omnipotence daily. Although pain would claim to annul the goodness and perfection that God bestows, no matter how pain would manifest itself—as a sudden, acute sensation or as a supposedly chronic influence—it is a lie. It is a false view of our being that can be seen through with a better understanding of God and man.
