A revolution against lack
Some people lack food; others lack jobs; still others are concerned about a lack of sufficient health.
However, among many spiritual thinkers today there is a revolution taking place against this sense of lack, and it's a revolution in how they are viewing reality. It's a turning point in thought, where God is becoming recognized as the Giver of limitless good, and a limited, material picture is being seen as a counterfeit sense of things.
The Bible tells of many people reaching this turning point —the point at which a finite sense of things yields to a spiritual recognition of God's fullness and care. For example, the children of Israel, finding manna to eat in the wilderness. Or Elijah's supplying the widow with an abundance of meal and oil. Or Christ Jesus' feeding the multitudes. (See Ex., chap. 16; I Kings, chap. 17; and Matt., chap. 14).
