Is healing really in accord with law?
It was a beautiful morning. The birds were singing, a warm breeze ruffled the curtains of my open window, and by the sound of it, traffic was running smoothly. As I clicked off the radio alarm I heard the announcer saying, "...it will be 70 to 75 degrees today."
What a superb spring day! Why, then, did I feel so terrible? I had the symptoms of a virulent cold, which I had heard was "making the rounds." Lying in bed a few minutes, I tried to decide what to do. I needed to go to work, but I didn't want to spread fear of these symptoms to anyone else.
As a longtime student of the Bible and of Mary Baker Eddy's work Science and Health, I knew that I could be healed spiritually. The Bible shows us there is an eternal law of God that heals sickness. I began to contemplate how much I really trusted that law.
