The ring of authenticity
The Sentinel talks with one of the senior editors of the U.S. magazine Christianity Today about a column he wrote under the title "Get Real."
George K. Brushaber recently told the Sentinel how readers of his magazine welcome the personal touch he and his colleagues have given to "From the Senior Editors," which is in essence an editorial column.
Mr. Brushaber explained that readers enjoy the biographical touches that emerge when senior editors leave their oakpaneled offices for the real world and tell their readers what they think about what they find there. "It's easier for them to identify with us," he said, "when we draw upon personal experience, personal reflection."
