Several years ago I was walking with my grandma and sister in the woods behind my grandparents' new house in Ohio. One by one we stepped over a big bush. Later, my legs began itching, and Grandma told me not to scratch them. When my mother saw that we were very serious, she asked if everything was all right. Grandma explained that she was praying because she found out we had walked through poison ivy. I had a rash on my legs. Right away I thought of the Bible verse "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day" (Ps. 91:5). While Grandma prayed, Mom and I took a walk and we talked about how God was protecting me, and that nothing could irritate or hurt me. After the walk I looked at my legs and the rash was gone.
