Dear Sentinel,
From children and young people
Dear Sentinel,
At the beginning of the school year, I didn't have any friends and my classmates weren't very nice to me. I didn't like it at all. I had wanted to change to a different class, but my mom said "No." She said that I should look for the good in my classmates, instead of thinking badly of them. We talked about looking for God's spiritual qualities in others, because we're all made in His image.
I was also helped when my Sunday School teacher gave my class an article from the Sentinel about a girl who was going to a school where everything was totally new to her. She had no friends to begin with either, but it all worked out for her.
