FROM HAND TO HAND
The Sentinel is meant to be shared. In a world that is increasingly hungry for spiritual meaning, the Sentinel provides vital nourishment. Here's how one of our readers shared it. Let us know of your experience in sharing the Sentinel .
On a trip to a city in China recently, I struck up a conversation with an English-speaking hotel steward who came in to turn down the bed. He was adamant in expressing his dislike for communism. He said he was a Christian and believed in God. I offered him a Sentinel, which he eagerly accepted with gratitude. He asked if I would write a note confirming that I had given it to him, in case it should be discovered by anyone. I naturally never saw him again, but often reflect on how thankful I am that we have the freedom to read and accept this wonderful religion [Christian Science].
