For many years the testimonies in the Christian Science magazines have been of great encouragement to me, and I hope this one will help others.

I attended a Christian Science Sunday School when growing up, and during these years a number of minor injuries and sicknesses were healed. Generally my siblings and I experienced excellent health, and several schoolteachers remarked on our exemplary attendance records. This pattern has been repeated when raising our own families.

At one time our little son became quite ill with symptoms of flu. I called on a Christian Science practitioner to pray for him. He did not quickly improve, however, and then his preschool sister also developed these symptoms; and the day after that I too became ill.
